3 Tractor Towing Safety Tips

  1. Follow Instructions: One of the most dangerous risks when tractor towing is that your towed vessel comes loose from your tractor. To ensure safely secured attachments, always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines.
  2. Check Regularly: Before towing your next load, always check that your safety pins are still useable, and not worn down. Worn safety pins can easily snap, causing unwanted detachment.
  3. Never Make In-Motion Changes: If you must load alterations mid-tow, always bring your tractor to a complete stop before making those changes. Changing towing mounts while your tractor is still in motion can cause equipment damage.
